Greenselect Phytosome Research
-
Green tea has traditionally been associated to reduce body fat due to its ability to increase energy expenditure and calorie consumption through increased thermogenesis. Which is the creation of body heat through fat oxidation, digestion and other metabolic functions (1).

Di Pierro Study on Greenselect Phytosome:
-
ABSTRACT:
-
The goal of the clinical trial was to compare the effects of Greenselect Phytosome (Green Tea extract) accompanied by a low-calorie diet to those on a low-calorie diet alone with no supplementation. Measurements of weight loss were used to determine the effectiveness of the Green Tea extract supplement by measuring changes in body mass index (BMI), and other health markers linked to over weight (8).
METHOD:
- Green tea extract (GreenSelect Phytosome) was given to 50 subjects and the control group also consisted of 50 subjects. Subjects consumed 150mg of Greenselect twice daily along with a hypocaloric diet (low calorie diet). Throughout a period of 90 days, a large sample of overweight volunteers consumed a balanced hypocaloric diet with or without daily Greenselect® Phytosome supplementation.
- CONCLUSION:
-
Significant weight loss and decreased body mass index (BMI) were found in the group receiving the herbal extract after 90 days of therapy. The GreenSelect Phytosome group lost an average of 14 kg in 90 days while the control group lost 5 kg after 90 days. Also waist circumference was reduced. Biochemical indicators such as LDL, HDL, cholesterol, triglycerides and growth hormones also improved.
-
The difference in weight loss was unmistakable: BMI declined by -5% for those following calorie restriction alone, whereas BMI decreased by -12% for those taking Greenselect® Phytosome daily (p0.001 day 90 compared to baseline). In addition, there were disparities in waist circumference measurements between males and females, where male waist circumference loss was greater than in females.
EGCG Research
Caffeine Research
Caffeine's capacity to activate the central nervous system may improve metabolism by up to 11 percent and fat burning by up to 13 percent (15, 16).
Consuming 300 mg of caffeine per day may assist you to burn an additional 79 calories each day (17).
Jalapeno Pepper Research
Jalapeos may aid in weight loss by stimulating metabolism, increasing fat burning, and suppressing hunger (18). Many studies have shown that capsaicin and other similar substances known as capsaicinoids can increase the metabolic rate by 4–5% per day (19, 20). In addition to increasing metabolism, capsaicinoid pills have been demonstrated to lower belly fat and hunger by 50–75 calories daily (18, 21, 22).
Black Pepper Research
Black pepper extract has been researched for its potential to lower cholesterol levels in animals (24). In a 42-day trial, rats that fed a high-fat diet plus an extract of black pepper had lower blood cholesterol levels, particularly LDL (bad) cholesterol (25).
Ginger Root Research
According to studies conducted on humans and animals, ginger may contribute to weight loss. A 2019 literature analysis revealed that ginger supplementation significantly lowered body weight, waist-hip ratio, and hip ratio in overweight individuals (26).
